Hello everyone! This month I have participated in the Blog Hop QuiltBlockMania organized by Carolina Moore and that gives away a quilt block every month. 31 designers has participated and each one of us was in charge of designing a block under a specific theme. Each designer chooses the technique that suits him best: traditional piece, FPP, EPP, applique….
For this occasion I have chosen as a block a love postcard.
This month is the Romance theme and for this occasion I have chosen as a block a love postcard. It is a block made of rectangles, strips and HST’s. It is very simple to make and very easy to combine colors, since only 3 different are needed. Here you may find two versions i have made using different colourways.
You might make several blocks, combine them to make quilt or a table runner. The finished block is a 12 ”square.
This is the dark background version i have made.
To get the pattern of this block, you just need to sign up to our newsletter filling the form .
